ILCS gains AEO certification.

We are pleased to announce that ILCS has been certified as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO).

AEO status is a certified standard issued by customs administrations in the EU. It certifies that a business has met certain standards in relation to their security, management systems, compliance with customs rules and ongoing solvency. Under a World Customs Organization (WCO) initiative an AEO certification may eventually be recognized worldwide.

Gerry has a depth of experience accumulated over 30 years in our industry, having held numerous senior positions in recent years, formerly M.D. of Danzas Ocean in Ireland and M.D. of Translink Shipping Ltd., (a company he formed in 1978 which became a market leader in ocean-freight from the USA before being bought over by Amari Group).
